Sammontana participates in B Corp School project

Sammontana is among the companies participating in the B Corp School project, organized by Invento Innovation Lab - a company with multidisciplinary and years of experience in guiding multinational companies and SMEs towards regenerative paths. B Corp School is a training and activism program that connects benefit corporations with Italian schools to discover new talents and initiate concrete change towards a more sustainable future, starting from the younger generations.

The B Corp School project aims to spread the values of benefit corporations by directly involving young people, students from high schools and universities in Italy, in training programs and the creation of examples of green and innovative startups. During these programs, participating companies provide expertise and strategies to support them in this direction.

For Sammontana, the B Corp School involves the participation of two senior classes from the Copernico Pasoli Institute in Verona in the creation of real green and innovative B Startups, starting from some challenges that the company is currently facing. Specifically, the classes will embark on the creation of two B Startups: one aimed at designing innovative products or services for the dairy and derivatives sector, aimed at reducing pollution from packaging in terms of climate-changing emissions and waste production, and the other aimed at creating creative and regenerative solutions to reduce pollution from packaging, both in terms of waste and climate-changing emissions.

At the end of the program, all startups, along with the companies that guided them, will participate in the Changemaker Competition, the final event of the B Corp School project during which all teams will present their projects to a jury that will select the winners for each category.

Participation in this important initiative represents another step for Sammontana in the journey that the company has decided to undertake alongside young people, to support their aspirations, shape their ambitions, and access the future by imagining and creating a better tomorrow than today.
